Inocu-Pellets are Quality Control cultures derived from the American Type Culture Collection and other nationally recognized collections. Inocu-Pellets are recommended for use in performance testing of culture media, stains, and microbial ID kits, maintenance of stock cultures and in the evaluation of bacteriological procedures.

Inocu-Pellets are easy to use. Simply unscrew the cap and rehydrate with the provided fluid. Because Inocu-Pellets are lyophilized and not just dried suspensions like other products currently available, they rehydrate instantly and can be used immediately.

Currently there are over 300 organisms available. The process of lyophilization preserves even the most fastidious microorganisms.
QUANTITATIVE (10 - 100 CFUs) SETS are also available for USP test requirements.
All sets are available in 5's (5 pellets + 5 rehydration vials)

Each Quantitative Inocu-Pellet is provided as a lyophilized pellet containing 100-1000 Colony Forming Units (CFUs). Upon rehydration with the 1.0 ml of liquid provided, 10 doses (10-100 CFUs / 0.1 ml) are readily available.
